This multiple-award-winning hostel is one of the biggest and
busiest in the world. Sydney Central YHA is in a historic
nine-story building just a five-minute walk from Central Station, and combines old-world charm with
state-of-the-art backpacker’s facilities. Amenities include an
Internet bistro, games and TV rooms, and a rooftop swimming
pool, sauna and barbecue area.
Rooms are clean and basic. We will be using four-to-a-room,
dormitory style rooms here. There are a very limited number of
single or twin rooms with private facilities. There is a large
area on the second floor suitable for meetings and also a
meeting room on the top floor for up to 60 people, available for
reasonable fee.
The Sydney Central YHA is accessible to travelers with
disabilities.
