Base
Backpackers is situated in the heart of Sydney, just a two-minute
walk from famous Darling Harbour, home to Sydney's best cafés and
bars and the Sydney Entertainment Centre, the Opera House and
Sydney Harbour Bridge are just at the end of the street. Transport
to Bondi Beach, the SCG and Telstra Stadium is just across the
street at Town Hall Station.
The Base Backpackers is a clean, modern
hostel with extra large four-bed dorms with a maximum occupancy of
four per room and 75 per floor. Bathroom
facilities are shared and consist of two bathrooms, one for men
and one for women on each floor, each with four sinks, showers
and toilets. There are some hair dryers available from reception;
however, they are available on a supply and demand basis so it’s best to
take your own.
There is a clean, modern kitchen, guest
laundry, Internet access and large TV room with a plasma
television.
The
Base Backpackers has accommodation on the first floor for
travelers with disabilities.
