French Alps

Imagine awe-inspiring mountainscapes and fertile, green valleys, meeting these soaring peaks in the region of Haute Savoie, France. In summer, visitors can take advantage of the hundreds of kilometers of magnificent hiking trails, in winter, the area’s fine ski resorts attract snow-sport enthusiasts from around the world.

Visit beautiful Annecy with its old town and various chateaux or take walks along the lake. Go into Geneva to sightsee and shop for the day or drive further into the enchanting towns and rural areas of Switzerland.  Drive over the mountains to Chamonix and take the cable car or train up Mont Blanc. Or take a leisurely drive around the local towns and villages - the crossroads town of  Thones with its shopping and recreation facilities, the ski villages of La Clusaz and Grand Bornand only minutes away, Albertville where the 1992 Winter Olympics were held, or just enjoy the mountain vistas all around.

The chalet is situated among a cluster of other chalets, but it is the last one along and very private. In a valley formed by four mountain peaks, it overlooks the town with its 16th Century church and former monastery and the Borne River flowing through the valley. A great starting pint for mountain hikes or more leisurely strolls.

This property is a multilevel chalet located in the mountains about 35 km south of Geneva, Switzerland, in the Village of Entremont. The chalet has two bedrooms, each with one double bed, plus two children’s bunk beds in the ground floor bedroom or a single bed in the small den.  Bathroom with separate WC on middle level. Open living/dining room with fireplace, small but functional kitchen, and large deck overlooking the valley.
